Regular Maintenance
Clean After Each Use

Wash your board with warm water and mild dish soap

Use a clean towel to dry the board immediately to prevent moisture damage

DO NOT soak board in water
Sanitize When Needed

Mix equal parts white vinegar and water​

Wipe down the board and let it sit for a few minutes

Rinse thoroughly and dry completely
Apply Board Conditioner

Every few weeks, apply a small amount of board conditioner to maintain the wood's condition

Use a cheese cloth or other lint-free material
-
This keeps your board nourished and protected
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Salt & Lemon Scrub

Sprinkle coarse salt on the board

Scrub with a cut lemon half

Rinse and dry thoroughly
Apply Mineral Oil

Depending on the extent of deep cleaning, you may need to apply mineral oil before the Board Conditioner

Pour generous portion of mineral oil on board and let soak for 20 to 30 minutes

Wipe off excess with paper towel and let dry overnight before applying Board Conditioner
Reapply Board Conditioner

After deep cleaning, always reapply board conditioner

This nourishes the wood and restores its protective coating​
What to Avoid
Never Soak

Never soak your cutting board in water

This can cause warping and cracking
No Dishwashers

Do not put your board in the dishwasher

High heat and water exposure can severely damage the wood
Avoid Serrated Knives

Serrated knives scratch boards more easily and deeply​
